Founded in 2008 by Former Sea to Sky President, Teara Fraser, the Aviation Leadership Forum provides an opportunity to contribute to Aviation Safety through improved leadership, cultural change, collaborative effort and organizational performance. This is a one-day event held annually in Richmond, British Columbia. Past Guest Speakers have included Michael O'Brien (YVR Airport Authority), Catherine Roome (BC Safety Authority), Gerry Binema (Safety Consultant), Gary Grass (Omega Aviation), Bill Yearwood (TSB), Kirsten Stevens (Safety Advocate), Judy Cameron (Air Canada), Kirsten Barnes (Consultant), Jamie Molloy (Harbour Air), and more.
The next Aviation Leadership Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.

Organizing Committee Volunteers for the Aviation Leadership Forum
We're looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers for the Aviation Leadership Forum Organizing Committee.
There are many shoes to fill and we need talented people to fill them ASAP! The 1st Committee meeting will be in August.
We are looking for a 1 hour commitment per month August - February (50% can be done by email), 2 hours per month in March and April, and attendance at the Aviation Leadership Forum April 13, 2010. Organizing Committee members will be provided a letter of reference that can be used for employment and scholarship applications.

Aviation Leadership Forum Sponsorship - We need your help!
We expect our Aviation Leadership Forum to grow significantly this year and we are planning to kick it up a notch! We are in the stage of planning where one of the main jobs is to secure sponsors. This day would simply not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. We are seeking corporate sponsorship from aviation and non-aviation related organizations and will also be looking for organizations who benefit from safer air travel for their employees and can see benefit to the work that we do. Sponsorship opportunities are: Platinum - $1500, Gold - $1000, Silver - $500, Bronze - $250, Door prizes and Giveaways

Aviation Leadership Safety Award
We are very excited to be launching The Aviation Leadership Safety Award which honors and recognizes persons and teams/organizations that have contributed, in an exceptional way, to aviation safety in Canada. This award will presented at the Aviation Leadership Forum to those people and companies who demonstrate leadership in safety and deserved to be recognized . Raising awareness of these achievements also provides opportunity to share best practices inspiring further improvement and positive change in the aviation industry.
